Never Before Seen Displays and Special Presentations Featured at the 25th Annual Fall Detroit Camper and RV Show

NOVI, MI--(Marketwired - Sep 23, 2014) - Come see unique RVs and special presentations at this year's 25th Annual Fall Detroit Camper and RV Show Oct. 1-5 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, 46100 Grand River Avenue.

Although motorhomes and fifth wheel toy haulers are show standards, RV dealer General RV will display several special toy hauler motorhomes. These RVs have a designated section for storage, making it possible for campers to enjoy the luxuries of a motorhome while taking small vehicles, like golf carts and motorcycles, with them on their camping adventures.

In addition, American RV Sales and Service of Grand Rapids will exhibit a $635,000 Dynasty motorhome. Show attendees will have the opportunity to tour these premier units and speak with sales staff about financing options.

Attendees can also learn about RV adventures, near and far, at the Fall Detroit Camper and RV Show. Detroit-native John Holod, of John Holod Productions and RV Adventures, will speak about traveling throughout the U.S. and Canada. Holod's presentations will run each day of the show at various times.

"Many RV owners dream about making that cross country trip," Bill Sheffer, show director, says. "There is no better way to make plans for that trip than to spend an hour with John Holod discovering Alaska, the famous Route 66, a Rocky Mountain adventure or a trip along America's East Coast. John's beautiful videos will stir your appetite to pack up your recreation vehicle and hit the road for these great locations. John will narrate these adventures and answer your travel questions."

The show, sponsored by the Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles and Campgrounds (MARVAC), is open 2-9 p.m. weekdays, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. The cost for adult admission is $10 (ages 13 and up); senior admission is $9; children ages 12 and under are admitted free. Parking is not included in ticket price. A special coupon is available at www.marvac.org, local Big Boy restaurants, metro Detroit Biggby locations and in area newspapers.
