Leading Technology Integrator Provides Next-Generation Endpoint Security; CyberSecurity Edge Enables Advanced Protection for Government Agencies and NGOs

CUPERTINO, CA and MCLEAN, VA--(Marketwired - Oct 9, 2014) - Bromium®, Inc., the pioneer of a new model of endpoint security using micro-virtualization, and Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), a leading technology integrator for government and select commercial customers, today announced the addition of Bromium vSentry® and Live Attack Visualization Analysis (LAVA)™ to SAIC's CyberSecurity Edge™ solution. Now, SAIC's CyberSecurity Edge customers can deploy Bromium to improve end-user security and reduce operational costs.

Bromium vSentry and LAVA use hardware-isolated micro-virtualization to enable unparalleled end-user protection and complete visibility into today's advanced cyberattacks. Bromium solution partners have been trained in the deployment, management and integration of Bromium vSentry and LAVA solutions to securely enable the productivity benefits of cloud computing, employee mobility and legacy JAVA dependencies.

"The evolution of cyberattacks and advanced persistent threats are making traditional malware detection solutions less effective," said Charles Onstott, SAIC vice president for Cloud, Cyber and Data Science. "SAIC is excited to introduce our customers to Bromium, which isolates malware through micro-virtualization to provide proactive protection for all threats -- both known and unknown."

As a Bromium customer, SAIC will deploy Bromium vSentry and LAVA internally as an enterprise-wide solution protecting SAIC employees.

"Just like our customers, we want to protect our company from cyberattacks. Within SAIC, we will maximize the full potential of Bromium's solution to isolate external threats," said Bob Fecteau, SAIC chief information officer.
