The Creation of Per Vices Crimson Software Defined Radio Product

TORONTO, Oct. 15, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Per Vices, a well known provider of software defined radio products, is pleased to share details about the release of Crimson, the company's latest Software Defined Radio. The Crimson Software Defined Radio (SDR) adds to the company's software defined radio product line.

Crimson was created with one simple idea in mind – to offer an advanced RF platform for a great value, and that is exactly what was developed. "We used our technical background in FPGA design to help Per Vices incorporate many innovative SDR features into their product," said Steve Sharp of Macnica Americas, Inc. "The capabilities and flexibility of their SDR solution is right in line with what people want from wireless solutions today."

The latest SDR packs a lot of features into a cost effective package with four independent receive and four independent transmit channels, each having 200MHz of instantaneous RF bandwidth and an operating frequency up to 6GHz. "The Per Vices SDR product line does a great job of providing the best functionality possible at the price people need." - Trevor Bingham, Arrow. Also unique to the design is the incorporation of an Arria V SoC device allowing greater capabilities for the end user. "With the astonishing wideband performance and integration of an SoC device, Per Vices has one of the best valued SDRs on the market." - Ed Morson, President, Applied Technology and Research Inc.
