We Scare Hunger is a campaign created by Free The Children to support local food banks. Those in the local community can drop off their non-perishable food items at NorthStar Ford Fort McMurray Oct. 1 - Oct. 31, 2014.

Marty Giles, dealer principal of NorthStar Ford, said, "Each month, almost 850,000 Canadians are assisted by food banks in Canada. Thirty-six percent of those are children and youth. Additionally, one in five parents said they skipped meals to ensure there was enough food for their children. One of the core values of NorthStar Ford is that we must support the communities that support us, so we want to help make a difference, and we're asking you to do the same. All you need to do is bring in your unused, non-perishable food items in to our dealership and we'll send them directly to the local food banks that need them."
