Woman Care Global to Market Signos RT Innovative Handheld Ultrasound Technology in Africa and Latin America


SAN DIEGO, Calif., Nov. 12, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Woman Care Global (WCG) has announced that it will market, Signos RT, an innovative handheld ultrasound technology, in Africa and Latin America.

Through a distribution agreement with Maternova and the Australia-based manufacturer, Signostics, WCG will handle all product registration and commercialization of the Signos RT for maternal health and obstetric care, in Brazil, Ghana, Kenya, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda.

The Signos RT is the world's smallest and most affordable handheld, battery operated ultrasound system. It makes ultrasound technology accessible and easy – for all users from the novice to the experienced. Providing outstanding image quality, this palm-sized device weighs less than 1 pound (392 grams) and is small enough to carry in a pocket. The Signos RT can provide a diagnosis wherever the patient may be and it is designed to empower users to diagnose patients at the point of care, to improve patient healthcare outcomes.
