Suvola Successfuly Launches Secure and Trusted Web Services Appliance Platform at Demo 2014

Easily Handles Hundreds of Thousands of Secured Simultaneous Connections

SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwired - Nov 19, 2014) - Suvola successfully launched its innovative secure and trusted web services appliance platform today at DEMO 2014. The enterprise appliance combines Suvola platform software with a secure and trusted high-density, low-power (HDLP) computing device. The combined solution provides hardware cryptography, tamper-proof key stores, trusted software execution and SSL network acceleration to support secure web-based applications for tablets, mobile, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

"Providing compute as secure and trusted appliances greatly simplifies deployment of complex software systems while providing exceptional protection against cybercriminals," said Suvola CEO/Co-Founder Chris Piedmonte. "The enterprise and cloud provider benefits from the advanced security, exceptional price-performance, and reduced administration and maintenance."

Suvola customers are enterprise software companies looking to deploy their products in an appliance model for on-premise and public cloud deployments.

"The advantage to the Suvola customer is the ability to offer secure and trusted versions of their products while targeting a single, highly-tuned hardware platform in a variety of deployment models." says Piedmonte.

"After traveling the country and vetting hundreds of companies on our DEMO Tour, we are excited to bring Suvola as one of the few selected companies launching new products and solving big problems at DEMO Fall 2014," said Erick Schonfeld, executive producer of DEMO. "Suvola has the potential to be a game-changer."

Last June, Suvola formed a technology alliance with Freescale® Semiconductor to develop technology designed to secure and accelerate cloud infrastructure workloads based on Freescale's QorIQ® multicore SoC (System on Chip) products. The alliance also included a capital investment by Freescale in Suvola.
