Alberta Introduces Bill 5 Amendments to the Alberta Securities Act

Legislation coming to Alberta allowing for Advisor Incorporation and continued investor protection


TORONTO, Nov. 19, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Advocis President and CEO, Greg Pollock had the opportunity to commend the Alberta Minister of Finance, Robin Campbell, for the introduction of the changes to the Alberta Securities Act. "We've been working with governments and regulators across Canada to make the necessary legislative and regulatory changes to allow advisors the option of incorporating their mutual fund business for some time now.
