Aldridge Listed Among Houston's Fastest Growing Technology Companies

After 30 Years, Its 38 Percent Growth Rate Earns Aldridge Spot on Houston Business Journal List

HOUSTON, Dec. 16, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Thirty years after Aldridge (www.aldridge.com) was established, it remains among the fastest growing technology companies in Houston. The leading provider of information technology (IT) outsourcing with elite first-response support was listed 39th on the Houston Business Journal's annual list of the area's fasted growing technology companies, reporting 38 percent growth between 2011 and 2013. Aldridge reported revenue of $10.9 million.

While rapid growth is usually the domain of young companies – Aldridge is among only eight companies on the list that were established prior to the 1990s – Aldridge has continued to aggressively seize opportunities to grow organically and through acquisitions.

In 2014, Aldridge completed the acquisitions of IS Support, Inc. and Tydan IT, managed services providers in Houston and Austin respectively. Both have been integrated into Aldridge's IT outsourcing services, strengthening the company's presence in the booming Austin market and adding to its technical expertise. Aldridge also acquired Clyde Bennett & Associates (www.cwbserv.com), a leading reseller of electronic medical records (EMR) solutions that also provides IT services for medical practices throughout the United States. Clyde Bennett & Associates operates as a subsidiary of Aldridge.

"We have experienced strong demand from clients who are attracted to our approach of assigning them a team of first responders and our guarantee that their team will take immediate action to resolve any IT problems," said Aldridge President and COO Patrick Wiley. "IT systems and the information that flows through them are the most valuable assets of any business, and we take our 24x7x365 responsibility seriously."

Aldridge provides a broad range of outsourced custom IT services, such as:

  • Managed Services;
  • Professional Services; and
  • Cloud Hosting Services.

Aldridge also offers unusual flexibility, allowing clients to walk away from a managed services contract and get a refund of any service-related fees during the first 100 days of a contract term.

The companies on the Houston Business Journal's list of Houston's fastest growing technology companies are headquartered in the Houston area, have been in business for at least five years and reported revenue of at least $1 million in 2013.
