$1 Million Powerball(R) Second Prize Winning Ticket Sold in Tucson

Next Powerball Draw Is Wednesday, Jan. 14, for an Estimated $176 Million Jackpot


PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwired - Jan 12, 2015) - The Arizona Lottery announces that a $1 million Powerball second prize winning ticket was sold in Tucson for the draw on Saturday, Jan. 10. This is the 33rd $1 million Powerball second prize winning ticket sold in Arizona.

The winning ticket was sold at a Fry's Food Store located at 3770 W. Ina Rd. in Tucson. The winning numbers were 02 - 09 - 19 - 28 - 29 PB 19. The winning ticket matched five out of five numbers drawn, not including the Powerball. Players can check their tickets by visiting ArizonaLottery.com.

The next Powerball draw is Wednesday, Jan. 14, for an estimated $176 million jackpot. Tickets can be purchased at any Arizona Lottery retailer.

Powerball offers many appealing features to players, including jackpots that grow bigger, faster. The starting jackpot is $40 million and the second prize for matching all five numbers, without the Powerball, is $1 million.

Players must be 21 years or older to purchase or redeem tickets. Winners have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prize at an Arizona Lottery office or by mail. Overall odds vary by game.
