Eco Sustainable Initiative Launches EcoDepot on Kickstarter

Funding Will Launch Online Marketplace Featuring Eco-Friendly Products and Services

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 28, 2015) - San Diego-based Eco Sustainable Initiative, Inc. (ESI) has launched a Kickstarter campaign for ESI EcoDepot™, an online marketplace that sources eco-friendly local (and discounted) products and services.

According to Michael Nasim, co-founder and chief operations officer, EcoDepot will qualify products and services via its Green Grade standard.

"In essence, we'll be providing a trusted online marketplace while simultaneously building networks of environmentally conscious providers and consumers," said Nasim. "EcoDepot will help streamline the process of finding green products and services and promoting sustainability."

Nasim added that funds raised from the Kickstarter campaign (goal is $75,000) will help finish mobile and desktop apps that guide consumers with search and product navigation for EcoDepot; they'll also be provided with tools to view their own carbon footprint so they can monitor and measure the impact and benefits of their green purchasing.
