The production is being funded via fan support on Indiegogo, the world's largest crowdfunding platform. Users can unlock "Private Access" to Alan, Nathan and Con Man's live-video feed by contributing to the Con Man Indiegogo campaign - which has raised more than $1,000,000 in its first day alone.
Con Man is a light-hearted take on the personalities, luminaries, and characters in the sci-fi community of which Tudyk and Fillion are superstars. The web series will share some of the surreal occurrences the pair have had, while telling the story of a guy learning to love and embrace his fans.
Fans can continue to contribute to the campaign at www.igg.me/at/conman. As additional funds are raised, the number of episodes produced will increase.
Hang w/ is the official live-streaming app for the web series and will take fans behind the scenes for an unprecedented, live streaming look throughout the duration of production - with a combination of scheduled and spontaneous live broadcasts.
Hang w/'s "Private Access" broadcast function allows a broadcaster to share live-streaming video only with a select group of people. Hang w/ Perks on Indiegogo are priced as follows:
- Conventioneer - For contributors of $15, Indiegogo funders receive Private Access to the Con Man production account.

- All levels above $15 include Private Access to the Con Man production account as well.
Private Access will be used to give backers unprecedented access to special moments throughout the production.
