Conducted by an independent Certified Public Accounting (CPA) firm, the examination includes extensive review of a company's controls related to operations, compliance and financial reporting. During the examination, the CPA firm focuses on procedures, including physical and environmental security, problem management, technical support, customer ordering/service delivery, network equipment monitoring and organization and administration.

During the Type 2 SSAE 16 (SOC 1) review of OneNeck IT Solutions, the following examinations were performed by an independent CPA firm:

  • Managed Services and Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) at the company's Tier 3 data centers in Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
  • Managed Services and ERP Application Management at the company's data centers in Arizona.
  • Colocation at the company's Tier III data center in Oregon.
