WHAT: The Practice Management System Accreditation Program (PMSAP) was finalized in February 2015 and now serves as a universal benchmark for medical practices and other healthcare providers in the process of evaluating these systems to ensure they adhere to a high standard of quality and performance when managing protected health information. In a webinar setting, EHNAC Executive Director Lee Barrett will serve as host during a panel discussion to help Practice Management System (PMS) vendors demonstrate adherence to a higher standard of quality, privacy and security, while leveraging the various administrative simplification opportunities included in HIPAA, HITECH, Omnibus Rule and the ACA.
