Xactware Unveils XactPRM mobile for Android Devices
New voice technology brings greater efficiency to preservation and repair cost estimating
LEHI, Utah - Xactware has announced a new XactPRM® mobile app that allows contractors and field servicers to create repair and maintenance bids quickly on Android devices. The app is now available for download on Google Play. Xactware is a Verisk Analytics (Nasdaq:VRSK) business.
A key feature of the new app is voice bid technology that allows contractors to add line items to estimates verbally. When the contractor states aloud the type and quantity of the repair, XactPRM instantly searches a comprehensive pricing database and enters the item into the bid along with the cost.

In addition, contractors and field services providers can take photos with the built-in camera on Android devices and attach them directly to bids. XactPRM mobile also saves time filling out forms by using the device's GPS functionality to auto-generate property addresses. Cloud-based technology stores bids in the cloud to keep estimators' data safe in the event a device is lost, stolen, or damaged.
