$1 Million The Pick(TM) Winning Jackpot Claimed


PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwired - Apr 6, 2015) - The Arizona Lottery announces that the $1 million The Pick winning ticket from the drawing on Wednesday, March 11, has been claimed.

El Mirage resident Henry Galindo redeemed his $1 million winning The Pick ticket on Friday, April 3, accompanied by his wife and members of his immediate family. Henry, who always purchases Quick Pick® tickets, has been a regular player of The Pick since the game began.

The winning ticket was purchased at a Corner Store located at 13777 N. Dysart Rd. in El Mirage. Galindo selected the $653,594.70 before taxes cash option, and he plans to invest his winnings.

"We are happy to announce that there have already been four top prize winning tickets for The Pick in the past month," said Tony Bouie, executive director of the Arizona Lottery. "We look forward to presenting more top prize checks to winners of this popular game."

The winning ticket matched all six numbers drawn. The winning numbers were 01-08-10-36-37-40, and the prize was claimed at the Arizona Lottery office in Phoenix.

The next drawing for The Pick will be held Wednesday, April 8, for an estimated $1.1 million jackpot. Tickets can be purchased at any Arizona Lottery retailer.

The Arizona Lottery advises players to sign their tickets and check them as soon as possible to avoid missing out on any prizes they may have won.

Players must be 21 years or older to purchase or redeem tickets. Winners have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prize at an Arizona Lottery office or by mail. Overall odds vary by game.
