Morpho Launches Touchless MorphoWave(TM) at ISC West

ANAHEIM, CA--(Marketwired - April 14, 2015) - Morpho (Safran), the world's leading supplier of biometric identification and security solutions, today announced the launch of MorphoWave, the market's first biometric access solution featuring high-speed touchless fingerprint matching. MorphoWave captures and matches four fingerprints with a single wave of the hand, for an efficient and comfortable user experience. MorphoWave will be on display at ISC West in Las Vegas, booth # 5083, April 15-17, 2015.

Users simply wave a hand over the MorphoWave sensor to be identified. Because the sensor is touchless, the surface remains clean through repeated scans. It reads wet and dry fingerprints without difficulty, which is a supporting factor in its very fast and highly accurate capture and matching rate.

MorphoWave was developed to meet the growing demand for frictionless access control at high-traffic, sensitive, and secure locations. The technology was designed with all key interfaces allowing direct and easy integration into existing access control and time and attendance systems. MorphoWave can also be used as a stand-alone device for quick deployment at temporary events and facilities.

The color touchscreen, located above the sensor, can be programmed for time and attendance features, text and video messaging, customized graphics, and administrative functions. The modern design of MorphoWave and the extensive configurability of its functions make touchless identification a compelling option for government, business and commercial venues.

"MorphoWave is ideally suited for secure access control in all high traffic environments," said Celeste Thomasson, President and CEO of MorphoTrak. "Morpho's fingerprint identification algorithms, deemed most accurate in a recent NIST evaluation, combined with our touchless technology, make the world safer -- and a little easier to navigate."
