TriCore Reference Laboratories Honors Late Medical Director with RoboRAVE Sponsorship


ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., April 30, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- RoboRAVE 2015 international, an aerial response challenge using drones, robotics and various app developments takes place this week in Albuquerque, New Mexico. TriCore sponsors the Aerial Challenge which premieres Thursday, April 30th from 2pm to 3pm in honor of the late Dr. Tom Williams.

Dr. Williams was an influential health leader and one of TriCore's founders. He passed away in early 2015. Dr. Williams displayed a passion for innovation and inspiring future leaders. Born and raised in New Mexico, he understood the promise of young, talented minds.

To determine a winner, the drones will travel through a controlled drone obstacle course. The flight path was designed to highlight New Mexico's diverse geography and heritage. RoboRAVE 2015 will attract over 2000 high school students representing nine countries.
