Media Advisory: The Fairmont Hotel Macdonald Boardroom Renaming

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - May 12, 2015) - Join his worship, Mayor Iveson, Terry Cavanagh and members of the Cavanagh Family, along with the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald team to rename the Boardroom on the Mezzanine Level.

In honour of past Mayor Terry Cavanagh, who was instrumental in saving the hotel from the wrecking ball, the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald will be holding a Boardroom Renaming Ceremony. His worship, Mayor Iveson, Fairmont Hotel Macdonald General Manager, Garrett Turta and Director of Sales and Marketing Steven Walton will be present as well as Terry Cavanagh and members of the Cavanagh Family to rename the Boardroom on the Mezzanine Level from this date forward, The Cavanagh Room.

Please note: Mr. Cavanagh will not be available for interviews, however, members of his family will be. Photos and video are welcome during the renaming ceremony and unveiling of the meeting space plaque.
