TSANet Appoints New Board Member

Board of Director Position Filled by Jeff Zirker, Cisco Systems


OVERLAND PARK, KS--(Marketwired - May 12, 2015) - TSANet (Technical Support Alliance Network), the industry's largest vendor-neutral support alliance, announced that Jeff Zirker, Sr. Director of Global Technical Support at Cisco Systems, was elected to the TSANet Board of Directors. 

TSANet board members provide leadership and strategic direction for the organization. Board members provide a critical path to keeping TSANet a relevant tool via guidance and the approval of new programs. "Jeff Zirker brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective that we will be utilizing to move TSANet into the future," said Dennis Smeltzer, TSANet president. 

Jeff Zirker is a 22-year veteran of Cisco and has held a number of service delivery, operations, and acquisition roles. Jeff currently leads a team of senior service delivery leaders whose teams support Cisco customers in North America across multiple technologies and architectures. In addition, Jeff leads the Americas High Touch Technical Support organization that provides premium support for some of Cisco's largest customers. Jeff has represented Technical Services Delivery in Cisco's new and emerging partnerships with companies such as NetApp, Citrix, VCE and others. Jeff has served on boards at Leadership North Carolina and The Montessori School of Raleigh, and he currently serves on the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.
