Paxata Names Industry Veteran Shankar Ganapathy as Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer

Dr. Ganapathy will drive the company's long-term profitable revenue generation strategies and lead all field, sales operations and go-to-market teams.

Shankar joins Paxata from MicroStrategy where he was, as an early employee, integral to building out a highly effective go-to-market organization. He was, most recently, Senior Vice President in charge of the company’s Asia-Pacific & Japan operations and was instrumental in driving significant scale and growth in that business. Prior to that, Shankar developed and grew MicroStrategy’s Channels business globally and also held leadership positions in the company’s Professional Services business. Shankar was educated at the Indian Institute of Technology (Roorkee), MIT and Yale University. He holds an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, multiple graduate degrees (MS, MPhil and PhD) and has completed Post-Doctoral studies in Engineering & Applied Science.
