RAID Inc. ARI-300 Storage Arrays Now Support Up to 8TB SAS Drives for the Most Demanding Applications

ANDOVER, MA--(Marketwired - Jun 30, 2015) - RAID Incorporated, an end-to-end high performance computing solutions provider for big data, cloud and virtualization, today announces that the ARI-300 Series storage arrays now support up to 8TB SAS drives and are capable of scaling to 2PB in a 20U footprint.

The ARI-300 high performance storage array series is designed for use in all types of parallel file systems where the performance of multiple high density arrays can be parallelized to meet the most demanding performance requirement of any applications.

Coming in a high density 4U enclosure and capable of scaling to 2PB of capacity, the first generation of ARI-303 was designed for larger storage installations and supercomputing centers. Now, with the higher 8TB capacity, these storage arrays can further help in achieving reduced power and increased space efficiencies.

"The high density, capacity, and reliability of the ARI-300 Series have made it an ideal solution for organizations with immense storage requirements and performance-intensive applications," said Robert Picardi, CEO of RAID Inc. "With its ability to support 8TB SAS drives, the ARI-300 Series now provides users unparalleled storage capacity to store and protect data at even higher densities."

The ARI-303 delivers a combination of superior price/performance, sustains performance of 5GBs reads and 7GBs on writes in most parallel file systems, including GPFS and Lustre, and is ideal for any high performance computing, big data or cloud application.
