National Sexual Violence Resource Center, Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape mark 15th and 40th anniversaries

This event is open to sexual assault prevention advocates, members of the media and the public. Representatives from NSVRC, PCAR, and the NFL will be available for interviews related to sexual violence prevention and the event.The National Sexual Violence Resource Center and Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape will celebrate their respective 15th and 40th anniversaries Thursday with a co-hosted open house for partners, the public and members of the media.
Speakers will include: Dr. Rachel Levine, state physician general; Clare Graff, social responsibility director for the NFL ; Delilah Rumburg, CEO of NSVRC and PCAR; and Mary Phan-Gruber, president of PCAR's board of directors. Representatives from NSVRC and PCAR will be available for interviews related to sexual violence prevention and the event.
Sexual assault has seen an unprecedented amount of attention in recent years. Through unmatched research and resources, NSVRC and PCAR have cemented their standings as leaders in the effort to promote sexual violence prevention at the state and national levels.
Founded in July 2000, NSVRC leads the U.S. in providing professional support to local and state anti-sexual violence organizations. The NFL has recently selected NSVRC to lead a multiyear initiative to raise awareness, increase support services and expand effective prevention programs to ultimately prevent and heal the effects of sexual violence in our culture.
