Eligibility of MLS All-Star Game Winner of TEAM's Responsibility Has Its Rewards Sweepstakes Confirmed by Hillard Heintze

Alexandria, Virginia, UNITED STATES

Denver, CO, July 22, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- As Major League Soccer supporters all over the country and across the world anticipate the 2015 MLS All-Star Game, the winner of the Responsibility Has Its Rewards™ sweepstakes will have the experience of a lifetime thanks to Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management (TEAM) Coalition and Hillard Heintze, one of the leading private strategic security advisory and management companies in the United States.

Nancy Butterfield was selected as the first prize winner of the sweepstakes, and her eligibility was confirmed by Hillard Heintze. Nancy Butterfield, a Colorado Rapids fan from Lakewood, CO and a guest will attend the MLS All-Star Game at Dick's Sporting Goods Park and be recognized on the field at halftime. At the conclusion if the 2014 season, the nineteen MLS clubs randomly chose one fan from the supporters who pledged to be designated drivers at regular season home games as their Designated Driver for the Season. These nineteen supporters became finalists in the Responsibility Has Its Rewards sweepstakes. The grand prize winners of the sweepstakes were Joe Hernandez and Dominic Comino, the Designated Drivers for the Season representing the two clubs competing in MLS Cup. Last season more than 33,150 supporters pledged to be designated drivers at MLS matches.

For the eleventh consecutive season, MLS and TEAM Coalition have joined together to make more supporters aware of MLS clubs' designated driver programs. The designated driver programs and the "Responsibility Has Its Rewards" sweepstakes promote traffic safety by encouraging responsible drinking and positive fan behavior.

"This promotion is an opportunity for MLS to show support for each club's efforts in coordination with beer companies and concessionaires to encourage responsible fan behavior," said Jill Pepper, Executive Director, TEAM Coalition. "For supporters, it's a great reminder that responsibility really does have its rewards."

"MLS and TEAM Coalition are doing a terrific job," said Arnette Heintze, CEO of Hillard Heintze, "and we are thrilled to provide our service to TEAM Coalition. We are deeply committed to keeping supporters and their families and other commuters on our roads safe." Hillard Heintze conducts the background checks for the winners using the advanced technology and services of S2Verify, LLC, one of the fastest growing companies in the employee screening market and the leading screening industry process innovator.
