Coding Dojo Ditches "One-Course-Fits-All" Approach

Coding Bootcamp in Seattle and Silicon Valley Adds Python and iOS to Three Full-Stack Curriculum; Will Offer Flexible Onsite Curriculum

SAN JOSE, Calif., July 23, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Coding Dojo, the only coding bootcamp to teach a three full-stack curriculum in just 14 weeks, today announced new course offerings and a flexible onsite program that can be tailored to each student, based on their background and career aspirations.

In addition to the MEAN, LAMP and Ruby on Rails stacks, Coding Dojo students in will now have the option to learn iOS/Swift and Python. Python is a highly recommended language for beginners all the way up to seasoned professionals, recently bumping Java as the language of choice in introductory programming courses at top U.S. Universities. The iOS/Swift course is crucial for anyone interested in learning iOS app development, and is an increasingly in-demand language across industries and employers.

With these new offerings, Coding Dojo's onsite program – offered in Seattle and Silicon Valley— is being redesigned to offer students more flexibility in what languages they learn as part of the three full-stack curriculum. Instead of having a "one-course-fits-all" approach, students can select three out of the five stacks offered by Coding Dojo and customize their learning experience.

Coding Dojo is also offering ongoing four-week full-time Dev Accelerators program, which opens up all five on-site course offerings to more experienced developers who want to go deeper in a stack or add another to their tool belt.

"While many coding bootcamps focus on getting students up-to-speed on one language, we believe that teaching three full stacks creates the most versatile, self-sufficient and in-demand developers to enter the market," said Richard Wang, CEO of Coding Dojo. "Whether you are a beginner, advanced programmer, career changer, entrepreneur, or aspiring mobile or web developer, we can help you reach your goals."

Coding Dojo is now accepting applications to the Onsite Flex Program and Dev Accelerators, which kick-off August 24.
