AESP Launches "UtilitiesConnect;" A Networking Event for Utility Professionals Dedicated to Energy Efficiency


PHOENIX, July 27, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP) has launched a unique networking event for utility professionals dedicated to energy efficiency and demand side management.

"UtilitiesConnect" is designed for utility professionals to engage in forward-thinking discussions on new strategies to approach energy efficiency.

"The need for utility professionals to have a dedicated time and space to share freely their thoughts, ideas, successes and failures in an environment specifically designed for them is well overdue. Utility professionals have a shared experience and UtilitiesConnect attempts to create a community for which individuals can learn and benefit from those experiences," said John Hargrove, AESP President and CEO. "This dynamic event, which will take place in person, is crucial as these professionals navigate through the complex issues and opportunities facing the energy industry."

The first "UtilitiesConnect" event will take place during the AESP Summer Conference in Niagara Falls, Canada, August 25-27, 2015. This event is free of charge for who currently work for a utility company. To gain entry into this event, please RSVP to april@aesp.org.
