FishTrack Adds New Regions to its Fishing Charts

FishTrack.com now provides sea-surface temperature charts, chlorophyll imagery, wind and swell, current and tide for Brazil, Gulf of Guinea and the Canary Islands

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif, Sept. 8, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- FishTrack.com now offers satellite imagery for 90 of the world's best offshore fishing locations. The latest regions added to its global database of fishing charts include central Brazil, the Gulf of Guinea in West Africa and the Canary Islands. For each of these regions FishTrack provides the latest cloud-free and high-resolution Sea Surface Temperature (SST) charts, Chlorophyll Imagery, Ocean Altimetry, Currents, Bathymetry, Moon Phase, Tides and Buoyweather™ Marine Forecasts.

"We are always working to improve the FishTrack product and reach more anglers. So when our users asked for coverage in the Canary Islands, Africa and Central Brazil, we listened," said Johnny Marcon, FishTrack Product Manager.

FishTrack provides advanced forecasting and satellite imaging tools to put anglers on fish and help them travel safely on the water. What sets FishTrack apart from other fishing websites, however, is its combination of advanced fish-finding tools and marine forecasts coupled with an array of how-to, where-to and gear-related articles, fishing reports and fishing cams. FishTrack provides all of the tools serious offshore anglers need to locate and catch more fish in any of the world's top saltwater fishing spots. The toolset helps anglers find temperature breaks, eddies of warm water and current breaks that hold fish, while the database of articles explains the various tactics and gear to use once you find the fish.

The FishTrack App, currently available via iTunes for iOS devices, lets anglers access the latest satellite imagery, plot waypoints and save imagery for offline use. The FishTrack App is free to download and an Android version is currently in development with a fourth quarter launch date.

FishTrack provides access to its database of articles and cloud-free SST charts at no cost. To utilize all of the SST tools requires a Premium Membership, which costs $79.99 a year. A Premium Membership provides access to all of the 90 regions that FishTrack covers.
