MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 9, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PritzkerOlsen, a national personal injury law firm, is excited to announce the launch of their annual national scholarship essay contest for students enrolled in accredited colleges and universities. PritzkerOlsen aims to help students who are committed to working to improve safety and protect public health.
SCHOLARSHIP CONTEST DETAILS
Once a year, The PritzkerOlsen Team will hold an essay contest to award a $3000 scholarship to one lucky student to put toward his or her tuition and fees. The funds will be distributed annually for the fall semester.
To be eligible, students must be enrolled in an accredited American university or college. Students must be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours and have a 2.75 GPA or higher.
To apply, students must submit a 300-500 word essay each for a total number of words between 600-1000 words on two of the following topics:
- What is the biggest food safety concern facing our country today? How do we combat it?
- What aspect of food safety education do you feel is neglected in mainstream media? Why is this important?
- What is the role of food safety education in the globalization of our world? How will this evolve with technological advances?
- Have you experienced the adverse effects of foodborne illness first hand? What would you like to share about your experience?
The essay submission deadline is 12:00 midnight EST June 1st.
