Andrew Peller Limited Announces Appointment of New Chair of Board of Directors

GRIMSBY, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sept. 17, 2015) - The Board of Directors of Andrew Peller Limited (TSX:ADW.A)(TSX:ADW.B) (the "Company") announced today that Mr. Randy A. Powell has been appointed Chair of the Company's Board of Directors. Mr. John F. Petch will continue as Vice-Chair of the Board and Dr. Joseph A. Peller, M.D. will remain on the Board as Honourary Chairman Emeritus.

Mr. Powell is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Armstrong Group Limited, the largest privately-owned passenger rail service in North America and a global leader in luxury rail tours most recognized for its acclaimed "Rocky Mountaineer" tour of the Canadian Rocky Mountains and the US Pacific North West. Prior to joining Armstrong he was President of Maple Leaf Fresh Foods a division of Maple Leaf Foods Limited. He was also President and CEO of Second Cup Limited and President of S.C. Johnson & Son Incorporated. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, and has served as a Board Director for Second Cup Coffee Company and Diedrich Coffee Company Ltd., and as a member of the Dean's Advisory Council at York University.
