Dr. Lowell Ackerman Joins LifeLearn


GUELPH, Ontario, Sept. 22, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LifeLearn Inc., a company devoted to mobilizing knowledge in the animal health industry, announced today that Dr. Lowell Ackerman, renowned veterinarian, author and consultant, will join LifeLearn as Vice President, Veterinary Strategy.

Dr. Ackerman brings to LifeLearn a deep and rich knowledge of both the medical and business aspects of animal health. Having graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario, and attained board certification from the American College of Veterinary Dermatology, Dr. Ackerman has authored several books including Blackwell's Five-Minute Veterinary Practice Management Consult, The Genetic Connection, and Atlas of Small Animal Dermatology.

In addition to his veterinary credentials, he also holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Harvard University, a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and a Certificate in Veterinary Practice Administration from Purdue University. He is also a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) through the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NAVCA).
