Troy, Michigan, UNITED STATES

TROY, Mich., Sept. 23, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Officials with the Town of Collierville, Tenn. recently selected New World Systems® to replace an outdated system and increase productivity.

The town recently licensed New World’s LOGOS™ Public Administration software solutions including:

According to Collierville’s project manager Kate Watkins, the town’s 500 local government employees outgrew the financial accounting system they had used since the 1980s. They were in need of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that could automate workflows, comply with required reporting, and better serve the community with online functionality.

“New World’s software really wows us,” Watkins said. “We were sold on New World because of its top-notch technology and the emphasis New World staff put on listening to and meeting the needs of Collierville as a whole.”

Going forward, Watkins said New World’s LOGOS software will help town staff to better perform required functions, use tax dollars more efficiently, and enhance reporting by targeting select audiences.

With this increased efficiency the city will be able to:

  • Automate workflows and reduce paper waste
  • Provide users with an easier way to access data and generate required reports
  • Enhance document retrieval functionality and improve interdepartmental information transfers
  • Improve online services for residents

“Our staff will experience enhanced productivity with the system’s ease of use,” Watkins said. “We’re looking forward to our continued partnership with New World Systems.”
