The annual rankings recognize the 25 largest 8(a) companies by their prime contracting dollars. The companies provide IT, telecommunications and professional services to the federal market. CNTS earned its No. 3 ranking with revenue exceeding $90 million in 2014.

"This is a wonderful recognition of our employees' hard work and dedication to first-class service," said Steven Bilby, president of Cherokee Nation's diversified businesses. "The government contracting industry is continuously evolving, and we are working hard to ensure Cherokee Nation Businesses' companies stay at the forefront of that evolution."

Throughout the fiscal year, CNTS collaborated with the SBA's Office of Native American Affairs to offer free, onsite training sessions and web-based seminars for native corporations nationwide with an interest in joining the 8(a) program.
