Florida Agency Network Earns SOC 1 Data Security Status; Achieves Compliance With Tough Dodd-Frank Disclosure Rules


PLANT CITY, Fla., Oct. 20, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Florida Agency Network (FAN) announces it has achieved two major milestones that strengthen its consumer data security controls and achieve full compliance with new banking industry disclosure rules.

 FAN, the largest network of independent title agencies in Florida, has successfully:

  • Completed a rigorous third-party examination of data security policies, procedures and processes in accordance with Service Organization Controls 1  (SOC 1) standards, and, 
  • Achieved compliance with the combined new TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure requirements (Truth in Lending Act and Real Estate Procedures Act) mandated under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
