Realtor Brian Bartholomew to Present $3,000 in Backpacks and Holiday Educational Gifts to Students With Autism in Fullerton School District

FULLERTON, Calif., Oct. 26, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- To support Fullerton special education programs, Brian Bartholomew, local Real Estate Agent and Fullerton Cares Board Director, is getting in the holiday spirit, giving 137 backpacks, valued at over $3,000, to assist students and families with autism in the Fullerton School District. Bartholomew and his team will be presenting the backpacks personally to the 24 students at Commonwealth Elementary at 8:30am and to the 28 students at Golden Hill Elementary at 10:30am, both on November 19.

Members of the community are encouraged to get involved by visiting Bartholomew’s RE/MAX Cornerstone office to stuff backpacks with school supplies and holiday goodies during the open-to-the-public potluck, November 3, at 6pm at 3235 Associated Rd, Fullerton CA 92835 and additional contributions are encouraged to be dropped off prior. There will be a formal district presentation of the backpacks at the school board meeting on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at 6pm at the District Administration Board Room, 1401 W. Valencia Drive in Fullerton.

"As a parent and local businessman, there is nothing that gives me greater satisfaction than helping others. While real estate allows me to do this every day, there’s nothing like helping a family with special needs and supporting Fullerton Cares Autism Foundation,” says Brian Bartholomew. With this gift, Bartholomew has donated more than $7000 to Fullerton Cares this year.

Professional, captioned post-event photos will be available with prior request.  Members of the media are invited to attend and photograph any of the events with prior RSVP.
