USA Launch of "Funny Zoo" Coming to Southern California in 2016

Life-Sized Animal Sculpture Exhibit Set to Bring Ecological Awareness to Los Angeles and Surrounding Cities!

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 29, 2015) - EKC PR client Funny Zoo's playful, public art exhibit and cultural initiative offers city dwellers a truly unique experience! Created to promote awareness of biodiversity and conservation of the Earth's endangered species and environment, Funny Zoo features an art collection filled with hundreds of sponsored life-sized animal sculptures that will be painted and adorned by California artists, and businesses. Set to appear throughout Los Angeles County in early 2016, Funny Zoo is encouraging everyone to participate and enjoy the fun!

In 2013, Funny Zoo debuted in Marseilles, France under the supervision of Bernard Scoffié & Jean-Fabrice Brunel, founders of the Malibu-based French Pacific Events (FPE). Hailed as "a unique public platform at the intersection of art and community," each of FPE's initiatives are generated to raise funds and awareness for charitable organizations.

"We've enjoyed bringing Funny Zoo to citizens of France and other European countries," says Bernard Scoffié. "When people get to see the sculptures in person, they're rewarded with a sense of awe at each animal's inherent majesty. We now cannot wait to bring Funny Zoo to the United States!"

Funny Zoo is currently obtaining sponsorships (private individual, small business, large corporation, community organization, etc.) who will fund the customization of their animal sculpture in return for brand exposure and increased media visibility. Once the exhibit closes, sponsors will have the opportunity to either keep their artistic work for personal use, or allow it to be included in a culminating auction where proceeds will be given to a fundamental animal charity. For more details on sponsorships, visit here.

Funny Zoo is also issuing a "Call To Artists" where established/emerging artists interested in designing and decorating an animal sculpture may submit an application for the chance at becoming a part of Funny Zoo's artist catalogue. The submission deadline is December 1, 2015.
