CareSource Just4Me Offers Ohioans Lowest and Second Lowest Premiums Statewide

Open Enrollment on the Marketplace is Underway


DAYTON, Ohio, Nov. 2, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CareSource, a nonprofit Ohio based health plan is preparing for the third year of open enrollment on the Health Insurance Marketplace with low premiums, an expanded footprint and an increased provider network.

CareSource continues to respond to the demand for health care coverage with its mission-based product CareSource Just4Me, which includes education and support for the total health and well-being of consumers.

In 2014, CareSource successfully enrolled more than 60,000 Ohioans in CareSource Just4Me plans and nearly 90,000 enrolled across three states. This enrollment season CareSource is projecting enrollment to reach 100,000 across the company's four state footprint of Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and newly added West Virginia.

In Ohio, CareSource will increase its coverage area to 51 counties up from 43 in 2014 offering the lowest and second lowest premiums before subsidies as the company's average premium statewide will rise by about 3 percent.
