SynGlyphX(TM) Now Available to Government Buyers on NASA's Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V (SEWP V)

ARLINGTON, VA--(Marketwired - November 03, 2015) - SynGlyphX™, the leading provider of interactive data visualization and discovery technology, announced today that its software and services can now be acquired through the SEWP V contract held by VT Milcom, a subsidiary of SynGlyphX™'s sister company, VT Group. This strategic partnership offers benefits to federal government customers by providing swift and easy procurement access to SynGlyphX™ products at competitive prices.

SEWP V is the fifth generation of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) popular Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) -- a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle available to all federal agencies for the procurement of state-of-the-art information technology (IT) products, services, and solutions.

SynGlyphX™'s interactive data visualization and discovery technology addresses the problem defined by Hal Varian, Google's chief economist, "Data are widely available; what is scarce is the ability to extract wisdom from them" (The Economist, February 25, 2010). The proliferation of data, enabled by new sensors, increased storage capacity, and other technological developments, is actually inhibiting our ability to make timely, informed decisions. SynGlyphX™ addresses this challenge by reducing the need for highly skilled technical resources to write algorithms and non-technical resources to manually inspect tabular data.

"SynGlyphX™ is commercializing an approach to data visualization and insight discovery that was fostered in part by Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community," said Mark E. Sloan, CEO, SynGlyphX. "The inclusion of our technology on SEWP V enables the government buyer to quickly access our technology and get on to the important work of discovering insight in data and taking more proactive, informed action."

SynGlyphX™ allows users to create geospatial views of their data that display the what, when, and why of the data in a single view. Rather than just seeing a pin on a map, SynGlyphX™ software allows users to understand the context of what is taking place at a particular location on the map. Additionally, in non-geospatial settings, users can create visualizations with multiple disparate data sources and see connections across complex data sets. Rather than looking at multiple graphs and charts, SynGlyphX™ software helps users see large numbers of variables in a single, interactive, and immersive visual environment.

SynGlyphX™'s technology can be applied to data needs across both the government and commercial sectors, including supply chain, human performance, marketing analytics, telecommunications and utility networks.
