ALM’s The National Law Journal Announces Winning Litigators

Honorees to be Recognized at Expanded Elite Trial Lawyers Awards in December

NEW YORK, Nov. 04, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ALM’s The National Law Journal has announced the Winning Litigators, a special report recognizing lawyers who prevail when substantial damages are at stake, set a large legal precedent and/or overcome an unfriendly jurisdiction.  The list includes lawyers at Akin Gump Strauss Held & Feld, Coving & Burling, Kirkland & Ellis, Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton, and many others from across the country.

The report features 20 law firms, including profiles of lawyers and their teams, selected by the publication’s editorial team from more than 100 nominations.  A full list of the lawyers/firms is available online here.

“The lawyers and firms recognized in our Winning Litigators report not only share a focus on meticulous preparation. They also know how to boil down complex issues for judges and juries,” said Beth Frerking, editor in chief of The National Law Journal. “Our report makes for very interesting reading on how these lawyers do their best work.”

Winning Litigators will be honored at NLJ’s recently expanded Elite Trial Lawyers Awards, which has a new venue and date: The Plaza, New York on December 8.

Some 300 guests are expected to gather at The Plaza hotel next month to recognize the law firms and lawyers who secured places on this year’s list, along with the recipients of the Elite Trial Lawyers Lifetime Achiever Award and the 35 Elite Trial Lawyer Litigation Category Finalists.

Further details of the event can be found here.
