Floor Covering Weekly Names Tim Koorbusch Chief Revenue and Business Development Officer

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - November 16, 2015) - Hearst Business Media today announced the appointment of Tim Koorbusch as chief revenue and business development officer of Floor Covering Weekly (FCW), the leading source of news and information for the global flooring industry. The announcement was made by Richard P. Malloch, president of Hearst Business Media, the group that includes FCW, and Santiago Montero, publisher and editor-in-chief of FCW. The appointment is effective immediately.

In this newly created role, Koorbusch has responsibility for leading FCW's sales and marketing teams, creating strategic business partnerships and maximizing revenue opportunities.

"Tim's outstanding track record in building multi-platform sales organizations, growing revenue and developing new brand extensions will serve FCW well," Malloch said. "He will be instrumental in driving expansion and new revenue opportunities as we look to the next stage of growth."

Koorbusch was most recently executive vice president and publisher of The Week, TheWeek.com and MentalFloss.com. Prior, he held positons at leading media brands, including Say Media, Sports Illustrated Golf Group, Sunset and Fortune.
