BOSTON, Nov. 18, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF), a central voice for patient safety since 1997, recently welcomed PeraHealth as a member of the NPSF Patient Safety Coalition.
PeraHealth, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, provides clinical surveillance software that helps nurses and doctors better monitor patients for subtle but serious health issues. The technology is powered by the Rothman Index, a universal score for predicting patient readmission and mortality risk that was developed by brothers whose mother died when a preventable complication went undetected after low-risk surgery.
