Consumers Are Real Winners With MMHA Member Awards


OKEMOS, MI--(Marketwired - December 01, 2015) - At the Michigan Manufactured Housing Association (MMHA) annual conference, multiple MMHA members received peer-reviewed Member Awards, highlighting their efforts in providing the best enhancements and communications to future and current residents.

"The Member Awards were created by the MMHA to recognize exceptional efforts of our members," said Tim DeWitt, executive director of MMHA. "All our members do an exceptional job for their residents but some went over and above and deserve to be recognized." Awards were presented for best community entrance, best model home staging, best community event or activity, best member sales event, best website and best advertising. The winners in each category were:

  • Klines Resort, Three Rivers, received the award for best community event for their 50th anniversary party.   • Shelby West, a Moceri Companies community in Shelby Township, won two awards for best model home staging and best website.   • Franklin Homes, Belleville, received the best member sales event award for their Monroe County Fair exhibit. Franklin Homes brought in a full-size, staged and landscaped Clayton manufactured home which more than 5,000 potential manufactured home owners toured through during the fair. www.franklinhomesales.com
  • Shelby Forest, a Moceri Companies community in Shelby Township, won best member advertisement for their "Affordable Homes and Community Lifestyles" publication. The real-estate style publication is published 3 times per year and distributed to 27 locations in their marketing area. The publication is in its fifth year. www.shelbyforest.com
