Residential Construction Industry Job Fair Coming to Novi, Mich.


NOVI, MI--(Marketwired - February 05, 2016) - The Home Builders Association (HBA) of Southeastern Michigan, Skilled to Build Michigan Foundation, Wimsatt Building Materials and Michigan Veteran Affairs Agency are co-hosting a statewide residential construction industry job fair at Suburban Collection Showplace, Diamond Banquet and Conference Center Novi, Mich., Thursday, February 18 from 9-11 a.m.

 The job fair is free to job seekers and pre-event online registration is required. With registration, job fair attendees also receive a free two-day pass to the Great Lakes Builders Show (GLBS) 2016, the Midwest's premiere trade show for the residential construction and remodeling industry, taking place February 17-18, 2016.

"This will provide job seekers interested in becoming part of the residential construction industry free access to GLBS 2016," said Michael Stoskopf, CEO of HBA of Southeastern Michigan who's producing the two-day event. "In addition to maybe finding a job, they get a great opportunity to attend in-show education sessions to expand their professional knowledge and skills, as well as see firsthand future industry trends."

GLBS 2016 covers 60,000 square feet of exhibit space, with exhibitors including single and multi-family construction, remodeling, land development, finance and management to share the latest information, exchange ideas and foster lasting personal and professional relationships.
