Old Bridge Spine and Wellness Celebrates 16 Years With New Facility

OLD BRIDGE, N.J., Feb. 21, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Old Bridge Spine and Wellness will celebrate their 16th anniversary with a new facility to open in the late fall of 2016. The new building, to be located at 144 State Route 34 in Matawan, has been in the planning stages for the last five years. Measuring 7,500 square feet, the new facility will house a full suite of chiropractic and medical rooms to provide comprehensive pain management, acupuncture and chiropractic services.

Dr. Peter Bufano of Old Bridge Spine and Wellness believes the new facility will allow him and his staff to better serve their patients. "We put many years into the planning of our new building," stated Dr. Bufano. "We have incorporated advanced equipment and technologies into our practice and designed the facility around those. We will have enough room to provide the types of treatment we excel at such as acupuncture, chiropractic, and physical therapy services.  In fact, we will have a full performance gym that can be used by our patients and physical therapists to assist our clients in their recovery."

Old Bridge Spine and Wellness got its start 16 years ago as a holistic, whole-body care practice. Today with three locations in Freehold, Old Bridge, and Matawan, a full team of chiropractors, physical therapists, and athletic trainers serve patients throughout central New Jersey. In addition to acupuncture and chiropractic services, Old Bridge Spine and Wellness offers a host of wellness services including massage therapy and sports injury care. They recently developed their sports medicine program to offer a variety of athletic training services including ImPACT Concussion Testing and FMS Screenings. Additional specialty services such as LiteCulture laser therapy, game ready therapy, and dry needling are available to treat patients in a holistic environment.

"We believe our holistic approach to our patients' overall wellness is an advantage over traditional medicine," stated Dr. Bufano. "Traditional medicine tends to treat or mask the symptoms but does little to actually address the source of the problem. We believe that through our approach to treatment we can treat problems at the source and allow the body to work to heal itself from the inside. Our therapies speed healing and help reduce chronic pain so that our patients can live their lives to the fullest. Our greatest professional satisfaction comes from seeing our patients happy, healthy, pain-free, and able to return to resume their normal activities as soon as possible. Our entire staff is thrilled that this new building will allow us to serve our patients in a state of the art environment."
