SATO steps out to meet people

Aiming to increase awareness and provide feelgood vibes

SATO Corporation, 30th March 2016 at 2:15 pm

SATO meets people interested in housing when out and about - in urban spaces, shopping centres and commuter routes. In March we organised the Dream Urban Summer Home competition and stepped out to shopping centres in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, Turku and Tampere as well as Helsinki's Central Railway Station to have chats with people.

The spring also brought the pink SATO tram into the streets of Helsinki until the end of the summer.

Customer Relationships and Communications Director Monica Aro from SATO:

- Providing centre stage to ordinary people and meeting people face to face now go hand in hand in our marketing. Real residents of SATO homes make our advertising fresh and friendly, and meeting existing and potential customers when out and about brings SATO closer to people's everyday lives.

- We received a lot of feedback about a variety aspects in these encounters. The Dream Urban Summer Home competition attracted a lot of interest as the prize - free use of a SATO home for the winner for the entire summer - is something never seen before. We find the feedback received about us, however, as particularly valuable.

Here are some examples of comments heard when meeting people in the context of the Dream Urban Summer Home competition:

"Is there a catch in this competition?"

"The summer in Turku does sound good."

"Wow, we could get rid of our grown-up kids for the summer!"

"SATO homes are lovely and light but I'm a bit concerned about the price."

"It's true that the quality's also reflected in the rent."

"The adverts are absolutely lovely! I feel like moving into a SATO home right away!"

"The apartments and area in Haaga are really nice."

"SATO does a good job on bigger renovations, but there's room for improvement in fixing smaller things." (Current SATO resident)

"I just moved into a SATO home in Espoo and it's been pretty nice."

"SATO stands out from other rental homes because of its quality."

"I've lived in a SATO home for more than 20 years and love it. Everything works really well!"

"That's a great tram!"

"Really beautiful apartments and in great condition! So nice to live in!" (Current SATO resident)

"What cheerful promoters you are!"
