Associa Desert Resort Management's Terry Kramer Appointed to State Security Committee

PALM DESERT, Calif., March 30, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Associa Desert Resort Management congratulates Terry Kramer on his recent appointment to a state committee which reviews, updates and revises testing for security guards. This will be a joint committee serving the California Association of Licensed Security Agencies, Guards and Associates (CALSAGA) and the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS).

Kramer is the director of operations for Palm Valley HOA, a 1,274 unit Palm Desert community, managed by Associa Desert Resort Management. He also serves in a leadership role at Associa Desert Resort Management monitoring internal work safety for the maintenance division and security license compliance for the access control division. Before joining Associa, Kramer spent 28 years in law enforcement as a DPS police officer and firefighter.

"I was asked to be a part of this committee by the president of CALSAGA based on my law enforcement career and extensive work in the security field," said Kramer.  "The Coachella Valley is home to a large number of gated communities and many of these communities have security guard service. I have been very active throughout the region working with several of the communities providing site inspections and reviews of their current security measures and electronic surveillance programs."

The committee will be tasked with reviewing the current testing for new security guards. After reviewing the testing modules, they will then update and revise the modules to ensure they are accurate with the current laws and standards for the industry.
