QASymphony Kicks Off First User Conference After Record Quarter

New Customers Added in Q1 Include Amazon, Amway, Cisco and Rockport

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - Apr 13, 2016) - QASymphony kicks off Quality Jam today, the company's first user conference, with over 150 customers and partners in attendance. Quality Jam comes after QASymphony achieved record results for its fiscal first quarter ended March 31. The company added 44 new customers, including multiple large enterprise accounts, and recorded the strongest bookings quarter in its history, with growth over 100% from a year ago.

QASymphony is growing at an accelerated pace as companies everywhere strive to improve software quality and upgrade their software testing processes. Data from a recent internal survey showed that 77% of companies would like to improve their software testing efficiency, and over 50% continue to use manual or legacy testing products and processes.

QASymphony's qTest is the only enterprise SaaS testing platform designed for Agile development teams. The company has continued to bring innovative solutions to market, recently launching a JIRA add-on that allows DevOps teams to manage the complete development lifecycle using "test-first" methods, and an integration to Atlassian's HipChat that improves team collaboration around testing activities. Additionally, at Quality Jam, the company will demo several new products, including a highly anticipated self-service Business Intelligence tool for developers and testers.

Following are some key accomplishments for QASymphony in Q1:

  • Raised a $5 million Series B to accelerate product and channel development
  • Signed enterprise customers such as Amazon, Amway, Cisco and Rockport
  • Appointed Jonathan Alexander CTO to lead research and development
  • Named a Top 40 Innovative Company by the Technology Association of Georgia
  • Grew channel with the addition of new partners Clearvision and Gallop Solutions

"This quarter we exceeded expectations in several areas, including new customers additions and progress with our channel program," says Dave Keil, CEO at QASymphony. "In addition, we had an exceptional quarter expanding our presence with existing customers, with many significantly increasing the number of developers and testers using our platform. Lastly, we were very pleased with the results from our newest partner, Clearvision, as we closed three deals together in less than two months. We are seeing an acceleration in large enterprises looking to move off their legacy testing solution, and believe we are very well positioned to capture a large part of this market."
