Music Adventure Game "Tadpole Treble" to Release Early Access May 6th

Baton Rouge, LA, May 16, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- BATON ROUGE, La. (May 16th, 2016) -- The Kickstarter-backed video game Tadpole Treble was released on May 6th, 2016. This will be the first game released by Baton Rouge-based BitFinity Games.

Tadpole Treble is a musical auto-scrolling adventure game. Players play as a tadpole named Baton, and swim through sheet music while dodging the notes of each stage's theme song.

The game features original compositions of both live and electronic instrumentation. Each song was composed by the two brothers that operate BitFinity Games, Matthew and Michael Taranto.

"Although this is our first game, we didn't settle for amateur-quality work," says Michael Taranto. "Tadpole Treble will be a shining example of how indie game companies bring originality and creativity to the market."

The game will initially release for Steam, PC, Mac and Linux, and will retail for $9.99.

The project was funded by 2013 Kickstarter that raised $34,250. Currently, the game has a following of roughly 20,000 YouTube subscribers, more than 800,000 YouTube viewers, and over 10,0000 social media followers.

Fans of the popular Web comic strip Brawl in the Familyare especially excited about Tadpole Treble. The comic strip garnered a fandom by being featured in such publications as Nintendo Force Magazine, and  features characters from the Nintendo Game Smash Brothers. One of the BitFinity brothers--Matthew--is the author of the strip.
