The awards are part of Institutional Investor’s seventh annual U.S. Investment Management Awards, which recognizes U.S. money managers who have stood out in the eyes of the investor community for their exceptional performance, risk management and service. Winners were selected by the editorial staff of Institutional Investor magazine based on their market intelligence and by the results of a survey conducted of U.S. institutional investors.
The Growth team is led by portfolio managers Jim Hamel, Matt Kamm, Craigh Cepukenas and Jason White, who manage the Artisan Global Opportunities, U.S. Mid-Cap Growth and U.S. Small-Cap Growth Strategies. The Global Value team is led by portfolio managers David Samra and Dan O’Keefe, who manage the Artisan Non-U.S. Value and Global Value Strategies. This year’s awards mark the third time the Growth team has been honored by the magazine and the second time for the Global Value team. The awards also mark the seventh time Artisan Partners’ investment teams have been recognized.
