Environmental Agency Workers Go on Strike

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - May 20, 2016) - Verde Potash (TSX: NPK) ("Verde" or the "Company") informs that the two unions that represent the civil servants of the Minas Gerais State Environmental Agency have decided to go on strike as of today. The unions main demands are improvements in career plans and salary increases for all levels of civil servants. The Minas Gerais State Environmental Agency is responsible, among other things, for the analyses and approval of environmental licenses. The Company will inform the market when the strike is over.
