DNA Hires Charlene Short -- Creates New Position for Talent and Culture

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwired - May 20, 2016) - In a move designed to attract and retain great talent, full-service marketing agency DNA announced that it has hired Charlene Short and created a new role for her at the 18-year-old agency, Director of Talent and Culture.

Short is returning to DNA after three years working at a variety of agencies and companies. Most recently she was Managing Director of New York-based Kids Ad Agency where she helped build and manage the start-up agency with a specialization in luxury fashion and beauty.

"There is nothing more important today than building a distinctive culture that supports our organization by helping employees understand our vision for growth and their pathways to success," noted Alan Brown, CEO of DNA. "Charlene is the ideal person to help us with this mission, having worked here in the past and understanding from her own experiences, how important it is for our agency to have employees who are engaged and valued."

In response to DNA's continued growth, Short will be focused on filling open positions, onboarding new employees, creating professional training and development opportunities and on supporting the unique culture that exists.

"When Alan asked me to return to the agency in a new role that reported to him, I knew that he was investing in DNA's future, and I knew I wanted to be part of that story and its success," said Ms. Short.
