Dermira Prices $126 Million Public Offering of Common Stock


MENLO PARK, Calif., June 08, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dermira, Inc. (NASDAQ:DERM), a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to identifying, developing and commercializing innovative, differentiated therapies to improve the lives of patients with dermatologic diseases, today announced the pricing of its underwritten public offering of 4,500,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $28.00 per share. The gross proceeds to Dermira from the offering, before deducting the underwriting discounts and commissions and other offering expenses, are expected to be $126 million. In addition, Dermira has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 675,000 shares of its common stock, on the same terms and conditions. All of the shares will be offered and sold by Dermira.

Leerink Partners LLC, Cowen and Company, LLC and Guggenheim Securities, LLC are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. Needham & Company, LLC is acting as co-manager.
